“Wow, what a fabulous place for a Staycation. The buildings are all old and have been left in their original form however the rooms are great, the food great, the location however, fabulous. If you want a break and enjoy a walk and a glass of bubbles or two with a view, this is the place. I have lived in Sydney all my life and cannot believe I have never stayed her before. We will be back every 6 months.”

“Lovely spot right near the beach and on the river. Our cabin was very comfortable, shower pressure and hot water was welcomed. Special shout out to the lovely young woman at Reception who was extremely welcoming. We were thankful to checkin early after a long drive from Melbourne.”

“Love love loved our stay here. Far exceeded our expectations and walking up the stairs to the beautiful view over Manly beach never gets boring. Found staff were so helpful and friendly ,took time to make sure check in was easy. Apartment had everything we needed,was clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds , plenty of room for a family. Will be our first choice when we come back to Manly”

“Breakfast really exceeded my expectations, lots of choice and great quality, definitely the best breakfast I've had in a hostel. Hostel is very modern and clean, with nice events: I especially loved the Friday $5 lasagna night. Booked a female only room and felt safe throughout my stay, really liked the design of the bunk beds with their curtains, lights and convenient charging points. Only improvement I would suggest right now is proper lockers rather than trays under the beds for personal...

“It is close to the beach and within walking distance of the wharf. It was easily accessible, being near a bus stop as well. Although the gas stove in the kitchen wouldn't light, the issue was resolved immediately. It is a quiet, relaxing, and lovely place.”

“The place and location was great. We booked for 7 people but the kitchen utensils were not enough, the pots were small, and when told the kitchen is complete, i thought there's a rice cooker as well. If they also can replace their nonstick pots that are super scratched...not really safe to use and very old utensils. It just look unclean. but the staff are friendly and easy to deal with.”
